Twitter will introduce end-to-end encrypted DMs

Twitter has begun work on end-to-end encryption for DMs on Android.
Twitter DMs will soon be better protected with end-to-end encryption, the microblogging site announced today.
App researcher Jane Manchun Wong predicted Twitter’s capabilities in a tweet “Twitter is bringing back end-to-end encrypted DMs.”
Soon after Wong’s tweet, Elon Musk replied to the tweet with a wink emoji, hinting that the feature was indeed in development.
Twitter’s new CEO also announced that Twitter would soon allow organizations to identify their associated accounts.
