On Sunday, a yellow code for snow and ice awaits us in 9 areas. The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a severe weather warning for Sunday.
The yellow code areas are:
Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Lovech, Sofia, Sofia Region, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad.
“During the next 48 hours, the weather over western and central Bulgaria will be determined by the approach of a high cyclone positioned over southern Serbia and northern Macedonia. Precipitation forecast over northwestern Pre-Balkans and southwestern Bulgaria will be snow and rain in the north-western Bulgaria. The risk of possible ice also increases! The rainfall will be more intense in the evening and on Sunday night”, warns the weather forecast site Meteo Balkans.
