Coccinelle Expands Global Footprint & Unveils “Her Deepness” Collection
Coccinelle is reinforcing its international presence with strategic retail expansions and the debut of its Spring/summer 2026 collection, “Her Deepness,” showcased at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes.
The brand made significant strides in the first half of 2025 with a prosperous entry into the Japanese market, launching a series of pop-up stores in key locations including Tokyo (Nihombashi Takashimaya, Ginza Mitsukoshi, Daimaru), Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka (Umeda Hankyu).
Domestically, Coccinelle bolstered its Italian network with three new boutiques: one in Bologna (Piazza Galvani), a travel retail location at Roma Termini station, and a store at Venice Marco Polo Airport, opening in july.A traveling pop-up initiative also brought the brand to select European department stores, including El Corte Inglés (Madrid & Marbella), la Rinascente Duomo (Milan), and Ludwig Beck (Munich).
Coccinelle’s Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, #EssentiallyME, embraces minimalist aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian concept of Lagom – finding balance and “just the right amount.” The campaign visually explores the understated sophistication of the modern woman. The Sabine line, introduced with Fall/Winter 2025,has been extended with a new maxi cabas designed for weekend travel, featuring a practical top zip closure.
The spring/Summer 2026 collection, “Her Deepness,” takes inspiration from the Ama, the renowned Japanese pearl divers, celebrating their strength, grace, and community. A key element of the new collection is the evolution of the C-ME line, highlighted by the new C-ME Lock – a reimagining of the Coccinelle logo as both a decorative and functional closure, available in metal and a refined marble finish.
Continuing from its Spring/Summer 2025 debut, the Coccinelle Shell remains a signature piece, characterized by its elegant, flowing silhouette inspired by seashell forms. The Spring/Summer 2026 footwear collection expands the C-Everyday line, offering contemporary yet classic pumps and slingbacks with refined designs and updated heel details.
“Travel Retail continues to be a crucial and growing channel for Coccinelle, experiencing double-digit growth thanks to increased traffic and comparable store sales,” stated Giada Cappelletti, Head of International Markets & Global Travel Retail at Coccinelle. “It’s more than just distribution; it’s a platform to connect our brand values with a global audience. We are pleased to be back in Cannes, reaffirming our dedication to elegance, authenticity, and continued international expansion.”
