The National Commission for Human Rights (CNDH) admitted the lawsuit filed by the Parliamentary Fraction of National Action (PAN) in the Senate against the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, for managing the health emergency of COVID-19.

“If the response that we had from the CNDH was in the sense of the non-responsibility of the authorities that in this complaint we are indicating as urgent investigation of serious responsibilities, the door is open to go to international bodies such as the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights … ”
