The disappearance of Maddie McCann has kept England – and the whole world – in suspense for over 13 years now. However, for several weeks, the noose has tightened around a main suspect, the German Christian Brückner. This Monday, June 29, The Daily Mail made new revelations about it.
Indeed, according to our British colleagues, it would seem that key clues have been found by the German investigators in the context of this case. We are talking about “Over 8,000 images and videos on USB sticks and hard drives” who were hiding in a secret hideout, a deserted factory. Bathing suits belonging to children were also found. But then, does little Madeleine appear on these images?
Asked about it on the show 60 Minutes Australia, prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters is unable to answer: “For the moment, I have no right to comment on this, so I cannot say if there are photos or if there are no photos of Madeleine”, did he declare.
As a reminder, little Maddie McCann had disappeared from her room on May 3, 2007, a few days before her fourth birthday, in the small seaside resort of Praia da Luz (south), where she was staying on vacation with her family. For years, Scotland Yard has been making great efforts to find the girl.
