The number 1722 is preemptively activated when a storm or flooding is announced. The fact that the number is triggered does not say anything about the severity of the warning and the extent of any damage.
The intention of the number 1722 is not to overload the emergency centers 112 and not to keep people in danger of death waiting. It is not an emergency number.
On Sunday evening the RMI expects a few more showers, but later in the night it will be dry with sometimes broad clearings. There is still a chance of a shower by the sea. In the Ardennes it remains overcast with low clouds. The minima are between 5 and 9 degrees.
Monday morning there are many low clouds south of Sambre and Maas with possibly some light rain locally. During the course of the day it will be overcast everywhere and at sea showers can occur especially towards the evening, possibly with a thunderclap. Maxima of 9 to 13 degrees. There is a moderate and temporarily quite strong, strong wind at sea. Gusts between 50 and 60 kilometers per hour are possible.
On Tuesday, the day south of Sambre en Maas also starts gray with low-hanging clouds, mist or fog and drizzle. Elsewhere there are clearances. During the day it will be partly cloudy everywhere with local showers. Maxima of 8 to 13 degrees.
