The bad news for Nvidia and its cloud gaming service GeForce Now does not stop. After Activision Blizzard and Bethesda have already withdrawn their games from the game streaming platform, 2K Games has also joined the sales label of the computer games publisher Take 2 Interactive.

2K Games withdraws all games

2K Games and its three departments 2K, 2K Sports and 2K Play will no longer offer games on GeForce Now like Nvidia in the future GeForce Now Forum announced.

Nvidia emphasized that the company is working with 2K Games to make the games available again in the future.

Per publisher request, please be advised 2K Games titles will be removed from GeForce NOW today. We are working with 2K Games to re-enable their games in the future.

Nvidia

The manufacturer had to sound very similar sounding announcements before Activision Blizzard retires and that was only slightly later Withdrawal from Bethesda publish.

Backgrounds remain unclear

In all three cases, Nvidia agreed to work with the studios on a solution to make their games available again on GeForce Now. As in the cases of Activision Blizzard and Bethesda, the reasons for the end of 2K Games were neither specified by Nvidia, nor by 2K Games or Take 2 Interactive. It won’t be easier for the cloud gaming service to get started.

For a long time, GeForce Now was only usable over a one million waiting list and only recently left beta with a free basic offer and a paid version with high priority and “RTX on”.
