“Cloud plays an important role in accelerating Indonesia’s digital transformation and its development is very helpful in advancing the national digital economy,” said Semuel at the inauguration of the information center, Thursday.

The private company that opened an information center regarding cloud computing technology is Accenture, through this initiative they built the Accenture Innovation Center Cloud for Indonesia.
Cloud computing technology is a growing alternative in Southeast Asia amid the current pandemic conditions, even for the cloud market in Southeast Asia according to data from IDC (International Data Corporation) it will grow at a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 18.9 percent in period 2020-2024.
Indonesia was chosen by Accenture to have an information center on cloud technology because it has promising digital economic potential and has the opportunity to grow new start-ups that rely on cloud computing technology.
