“Climate Holocaust”: Tom Radtke (left) justifies his tweet

WORLD: In retrospect, do you see it as a mistake to use the word climate holocaust?

Tom Radtke: It is not wrong to raise awareness of the climate crisis. Even with drastic terms and actions that shake people awake. I was put in the right corner because of that. I am absolutely not. I’ve always had an anti-fascist attitude. But I should have better explained what I mean. We cannot undo Auschwitz. But we can still stop climate change.

WORLD: Don’t you think that your statements and tweets relativize the Holocaust or also instrumentalize your ideas?
