Bay of Lübeck. The event Music in a beach chair has meanwhile become one of the most popular classics in the summer Bay of Lübeck. The event design is brand new this year. With new furniture and decorative elements, the event format remains casual as usual, but offers an even more comfortable atmosphere. Until the end of August, the music in the beach chair will take place again on the beaches from Scharbeutz to Rettin and also in a green variant in the inland.
“Musik im Strandkorb” will be guesting 30 times this summer in the Bay of Lübeck – at different locations and with different artists. Start is at 7 pm; the final concert will take place on August 23 at the pier in Pelzerhaken.
On four dates, the musicians play exclusively for the (very) young audience – with the music in the Kids Beach Chair. In addition to the musical variety, the different locations also ensure variety. The music can be visited in a beach chair at nine venues: the beach in Pelzerhaken (pier and surf beach), in Scharbeutz (meeting beach), in Neustadt (at the Arborea marina resort and at the beach box) and in Sierksdorf (at the beach pearl). The inland variant is available at the Gronenberger Mühle, in the Haffwiesenpark in Haffkrug and on the meadow at the Haus des Gastes in Klingberg. What is identical everywhere is the new and casually chic event design in lively colors. The new furniture consists of carpet islands with cool bean bags and cushions and real rattan cushions as well as chilled loungers. The color palette ranges from the trend color coral to a fresh turquoise to a warm sand tone. It reflects the colors of the coast: the sunrise over the sea, the water of the Baltic Sea and the beach. Large decorative plants and up to five meters high, color-coordinated Bali flags provide the decorative framework in which guests can relax to fine, handmade music and enjoy the moment.
Sparkasse Holstein has been a reliable partner for music in a beach chair for years. “This event offers everything that is needed for a particularly leisure experience: good music, a nice atmosphere and relaxed conviviality,” says Simon Lorenz, manager of the Sparkasse Holstein branch in Scharbeutz.
And Tabea Braun, event manager at TALB, adds: “This event format hits the zeitgeist – it is relaxed, casual and at the same time lively. Developing a new design for this great event was a lot of fun for me personally and I’m looking forward to bringing the Lübeck Bay brand to life with further event layouts. “(Red / he)
