Nearly a dozen MLAs from Trinamool, Congress, CPM and CPI parties joined the BJP from Shah in Midnapore on Saturday. According to BJP sources, Shah will visit Bengal every month till the elections.
Meanwhile, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused the Center of encroaching on the powers of the states by relocating IPS officers and forgetting federal principles.
