TRIBUNJABAR.ID, CIREBON – The Livestock Service Office of Cirebon Regency has received the oral and nail disease vaccine (PMK) for a target of 3,000 doses of vaccine for livestock belonging to the local government and the general public.

In fact, PMK vaccination for livestock in Cirebon Regency has also been carried out since Tuesday (28/6/2022) yesterday.

According to him, the vaccine is planned to be given to livestock belonging to the local government and the people of Cirebon Regency.

“We received the PMK vaccine for 400 cattle in this initial stage of distribution,” said Encus Suswaningsih when met at the Cirebon Regency Agriculture Service, Jalan Sunan Ampel, Sumber District, Cirebon Regency, Wednesday (30/6/2022).

In addition, the priority target for PMK vaccination is cattle that are used as broodstock, not beef cattle whose meat will be consumed.

He admitted that the cattle that were vaccinated were also in good health, and had never been infected or had symptoms of FMD.
