Christian Eriksen’s condition is stable after collapsing on the field

Midfielder Denmark Christian Eriksen collapse in the game Euro 2020 against Finland. Eriksen is currently in stable condition, as announced UEFA.

Eriksen suddenly fell down and was unconscious in the middle of the Denmark vs Finland match in continued pada Euro 2020, Saturday (13/6/2021) evening WIB. The players rushed to ask the medical team for help.

The 29-year-old player then received CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the field by the medical team. After a while of handling, Christian Eriksen carried on a stretcher out of the field.

The Inter Milan midfielder was later transferred to hospital and UEFA report his condition is currently stable. Reports also state that Eriksen is now conscious and able to speak. Meanwhile the match is in suspended status and UEFA currently holding a meeting with both teams regarding the continuation of the match.

Competition Denmark vs Finland currently at 0-0. The game was stopped a few minutes before the end of the first half to focus on providing treatment to Christian Eriksen.

UEFA will soon provide the latest announcement once the meeting has come to fruition.

Denmark and Finland are in Group B Euro 2020. The other two teams in this group are Belgium and Russia, who will compete on Sunday (13/6/2021) early morning WIB.

The Denmark vs Finland match is now confirmed to be continued on the same day at 20.30 local time or 01.30 WIB.
