Several warnings of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) are currently in force. Experts warn from very high temperatures with a high degree of danger that will hit the Central Bohemian Region (Kralupy nad Vltavou, Mělník, Neratovice, Slaný), Usti Region (Bílina, Děčín, Chomutov, Kadaň, Litoměřice, Litvínov, Louny, Lovosice, Most, Podbořany, Roudnice nad Labem, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem, Žatec) and Liberec region (Czech Linden).
The warning is valid from Sunday noon to midnight. “In positions below 600 meters above sea level, afternoon temperatures exceed 34 degrees. Very high load on the human body, risk of overheating and dehydration. We recommend following a drinking regime, increase consumption of unsweetened soft drinks, reduce physical activity and do not stay in direct sunlight. Do not leave children or even animals in cars parked in direct sunlight, “advises CHMI.

Applies to Central Bohemian Region (Benešov, Čáslav, Český Brod, Dobříš, Kolín, Kutná Hora, Lysá nad Labem, Mnichovo Hradiště, Nymburk, Poděbrady, Příbram, Říčany, Sedlčany, Vlašim, Votice), South Bohemian Region, Karlovy Vary Region, Ústí nad Labem Region (Rumburk, Varnsdorf), Liberec region (Frýdlant, Jablonec nad Nisou, Jilemnice, Liberec, Nový Bor, Semily, Tanvald, Turnov, Železný Brod), Kráhradhradecký kraj, Pardubický kraj, Jihomoravský kraj, Olomoucký kraj, Zlínský kraj and Moravskoslezský kraj.
Pro Prague, Central Bohemian Region (Beroun, Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, Černošice, Hořovice, Kladno, Mladá Boleslav, Rakovník) and The Pilsen Region applies the same warning, but from Sunday noon to midnight from Monday to Tuesday.

Valid from Monday noon to midnight, for Prague and the Central Bohemian Region (Benešov, Beroun, Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, Čáslav, Černošice, Český Brod, Kladno, Kolín, Kralupy nad Vltavou, Kutná Hora, Lysá nad Labem, Mělník, Mladá Boleslav, M nichovo Hradiště, Neratovice, Nymburk, Poděbrady, Rakovník , Ricany, Slany).
Also for Karlovy Vary Region, Ústí nad Labem Region, Liberec Region, Hradec Králové Region, Pardubice Region, Olomouc Region (Jeseník, Mohelnice, Šumperk, Zábřeh) and Moravian-Silesian Region (Bruntál, Krnov, Rýmařov). “A rare occurrence of strong storms is expected, especially with torrential rains around 35 mm,” warns CHMI.
