Chinese province of Shaanxi with three cases of covid imported via Portugal

The province of Shaanxi, in central China, registered three cases of covid-19 on Friday, all Chinese citizens returned to the country through Lisbon airport.

On Sunday, the Commission revealed another case of covid-19, this time asymptomatic, detected during the isolation period of a 40-year-old man. The Chinese left Bolivia and passed through São Paulo and Lisbon before landing in Xi’an on 4 October, having made a negative test on arrival.

The covid-19 pandemic has already claimed more than 1.1 million deaths and more than 40.4 million cases of infection worldwide, according to a report by the French agency AFP.
