MOSCOW, Sept. 20 – RIA Novosti. Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention Jilin in the north-east China claims coronavirus has been detected on packaging of frozen seafood imported from Russia, agency reports XinhuaThe package in which the coronavirus was found was identified during a routine check on Friday in the city Changchun, the provincial capital. On Saturday, the local Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed the preliminary result: Changchun’s medical authorities, after the coronavirus was detected, tracked all people in contact with the COVID-19 pack and placed them under medical supervision. All of their coronavirus tests were negative, with 10 kilograms of seafood from that shipment ending up in Fuyu city in the same province. Local health authorities on Sunday asked residents who may have come into contact with these products to inform authorities and get tested for COVID-19. In July and August, China customs found traces of COVID-19 on packages of frozen shrimp from Ecuador.
