SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 – China is prepared to collaborate with nations worldwide to establish a global community of science and technology,aiming for a shared and improved future,stated Vice Premier liu Guozhong on Saturday.Liu, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, delivered these remarks at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum in Shanghai.
He advocated for the creation of an open and inclusive global innovation network, emphasizing joint efforts to address critical challenges like climate change. Liu also called for the reciprocal sharing of technological advancements and improvements to global sci-tech governance, aligning with the principles of the Global Governance Initiative.
Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov, representing this year’s guest country of honor, and Chen Jining, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, were also present at the event.
