China’s Vision for Global Science & Technology Cooperation

SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 – China is prepared to ⁢collaborate with nations worldwide to establish a global⁢ community ⁣of science and technology,aiming for a shared and improved future,stated Vice Premier liu Guozhong on Saturday.Liu, who is also a member of the Political Bureau ‌of the Communist Party of ⁢China (CPC) ⁢Central Committee, ⁤delivered these remarks⁤ at the opening ceremony ​of the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum in Shanghai.

He advocated for ⁣the creation of an open and‍ inclusive global innovation network, emphasizing joint efforts to address ⁢critical challenges like climate change.​ Liu also called for the reciprocal sharing of technological advancements and⁣ improvements to global sci-tech ‍governance, ⁣aligning with the principles of the Global Governance Initiative.

Belarusian First‌ Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai ​Snopkov, representing this year’s guest country of honor, and Chen Jining, ⁣a member of the Political Bureau of‌ the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal ⁤Committee, ⁢were also present at the event.
