BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – Main land China currently no longer reporting case of local infection caused by the transmission of the corona alias virus Covid-19.
According to the Chinese National Health Commission on Saturday (22/8/2020), since last Friday there have been no new cases of local transmission in all of Mainland China.
A number of 22 previously confirmed cases, Friday (21/8/2020) were imported cases. One imported case of infection was reported in Shanghai with a zero death rate.
Of the imported cases, 13 were reported in Shanghai, 3 in Hebei and 3 in Shandong, 2 in Shaanxi and 1 in Fujian according to the Health Commission.
But on the same day, there were 59 patients Covid-19 also discharged from the hospital because he was already recovering.
Altogether 2,390 imported cases have been reported in Mainland China. As many as 2,176 have been discharged from hospital and 214 others are still undergoing treatment with 2 people who are in critical condition.

So far no death toll has been reported.
Meanwhile, if you add up the cases from the start, according to Xinhua on Friday (21/8/2020), China has recorded as many as 84,939 cases of infection including 454 people who are still in treatment and 19 others who are in critical condition.
There are also as many as 79,851 people who have been discharged from the hospital after recovering and 4,634 people have died.
Even so, there is currently 1 suspected case of infection in Mainland China, according to China’s National Health Commission.
A total of 14,305 people who had contact with the suspected infected person are currently undergoing medical observation.
