GGD Brabant-Zuidoost Launches School vaccination Program

GGD Brabant-Zuidoost (Public Health Service) is‍ conducting a school vaccination program from Wednesday, ​September 17th​ too Friday, October 17th, offering vaccinations against ⁤BMR‌ (measles, mumps, rubella), HPV (Human Papillomavirus), and Meningococci ACWY to eligible students in the region.

Vaccination Schedule by Age group

BMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • All children born in 2017
  • All children born in 2016 who have not⁤ yet received the BMR vaccination.
HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
  • All children born in 2015
  • All children born in 2014 who have⁣ not yet received​ their first‌ HPV vaccination.
Meningococci ACWY
  • All young‌ people born between July 1st and⁢ December⁢ 31st, 2011
  • All young people born between January 1st and July 1st, 2011 who have ⁢not yet received the Meningococci ACWY vaccination.

Vaccination Locations and Scheduling

Vaccinations will be administered in local municipalities throughout the program period. The initial phase will focus on Eindhoven, budel, Reusel, Best, Geldrop, and Gemert,​ followed by Deurne, Eersel, Valkenswaard, veldhoven, Asten, and Helmond.

Individuals are encouraged to attend their scheduled‍ appointment, as‌ indicated on⁤ their ‌invitation‌ letter, to minimize waiting times.

For those unable to⁣ attend ⁢the assigned time, free walk-in opportunities ⁢ are available at various ‌locations.⁢ ⁤ It is indeed not necessary ‌to cancel or⁣ reschedule the ‍original appointment; simply bring the invitation letter.

Family Vaccinations

Siblings who have also received​ an invitation to be vaccinated are welcome to⁢ attend the same appointment, even if they are receiving different vaccinations.⁣ No ⁤prior notification is required.
