Child shot at schoolyard Barneveld Inland

The boy was together with three others at the square around 9:30 PM. Police were notified that one of them had fallen off a fence and was taken to hospital. There a projectile was found in his body.

The East Netherlands police, which includes Barneveld, say they are ‘very careful’ in what they say about the incident because it is a minor. “We are currently still in the investigation phase,” said a spokesman. “We want to know what happened, but we should be careful.” For that reason, the police cannot say what it is ‘projectile’.
