A nature preserve in Santa Clara County is closed Sunday after a child was injured in a suspected mountain lion attack, according to officials with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Officials provided first aid to a child who was injured around 10 a.m. while walking on a trail at the Rancho San Antonio County Park and Open Space Preserve. The child was around 2 miles away from the main parking area when they were attacked by what officials suspect to be a mountain lion.
