Chennithala reveals how EMCC got the information; The file was seen twice by the Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has revealed how he got the details of the controversial EMCC agreement. The Leader of the Opposition said the revelation was made in the wake of allegations by the Chief Minister that he had colluded with the EMCC.

Aishwarya Kerala Yatra has a program that interacts with the people of the respective districts every day. Chennithala said he was told this crucial information by Jackson Pulla, the state president of the Kerala Independent Fishermen’s Union, while attending an event in Alappuzha.

An agreement has been signed between the American company EMCC and the Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation for 400 trawlers and five mother ships. Jackson told PULLIA that it would cause a major crisis on the coast. This is the first time he knows that information.

He then investigates and exposes the government’s lies one by one. But not as the Chief Minister says. It is untrue to say that the EMCCs themselves came and gave the documents to the old private secretary. The Leader of the Opposition also asked if anyone with a firm mind would say that the EMCC would do something that would hamper their contract. Chennithala added that this is not the first time he has come up with a conspiracy theory while holding a lie in his hand

EMCC File Minister J.Merzikuttyamma has met twice. The Minister saw the file on October 21 and November 2019. Chennithala said he was challenging the Chief Minister to release the file found by the Fisheries Minister.
