Singapore - Chinese actor Dai Xiangyu’s wife, actress Chen Zihan, publicly shared teh couple’s difficult journey through 12 unsuccessful IVF cycles and a period where Dai Xiangyu contemplated divorce, according to recent disclosures on a Chinese television program. The revelation offers a rare glimpse into the private struggles faced by the celebrity couple.
Chen Zihan revealed that Dai eventually asked her to stop the IVF treatments, deeply affected by the physical and emotional toll it took on her. “He could not bear seeing her in pain,” she stated.
The couple also faced additional strain as Dai, originally named Dai Yangtian, had previously considered divorce without first discussing it with Chen. At the time, he was grappling with a family member’s declining health and financial pressures, compounded by a year of living apart due to work commitments.
recognizing a growing distance in thier relationship, Chen Zihan proactively requested Dai fly to her film location for a direct conversation. She emphasized her commitment to repairing the marriage, stating, “I’m the kind of person who fixes a broken TV, not someone who just replaces it.”
