Chen Feipeng, vice president of Nanqiao Group, passed away at 9:00 pm on September 23rd! The group broke the news on the evening of the 24th that Chen Feilong, the director of Nanqiao, had set up a funeral committee, which shocked and saddened many people.

According to people familiar with the matter, Chen Feipeng has been in bed for two years. In recent years he has rarely communicated with people and has almost disconnected from the outside world. Last week his condition worsened and he was sent to hospital for emergency treatment on the evening of the 23rd. He died at the age of 80.

The Nanqiao group was famous for “crystal soap”. Subsequently, Chen Feipeng and his older brother Chen Feilong actively opened up the territory of the food industry. They once represented Hagen-Dazs, an internationally renowned ice cream brand, and built a food kingdom for Nanqiao Group. Famous brands like Master Du, Cabiso, Dian Shui Lou and Paulaner are all under the Nanqiao banner.

In addition to serving as Deputy Director of the Nanqiao Group, Chen Feipeng has extensive experience: he was Taipei City Government Municipal Advisor, Taipei City Economic Development Committee member, National Federation of Industries Executive Director, and President of the Taipei City Industrial Association. He was highly regarded in the industry and the sad news of his death made many people sigh.
