STAMFORD,CT – WWE star Chelsea Green has directly addressed fan speculation surrounding the future of her faction, the Secret Hervice, following a serious injury to member Piper Niven. Niven has been sidelined as August, leaving Green and Alba Fyre as the group’s visible presence on television, and prompting online discussion about a potential replacement.
Speaking with Woman’s World, Green clarified she is not seeking a permanent replacement for Niven, emphasizing the injured wrestler’s continued importance to the group. “piper is so valuable to us. We’re not just replacing her, but the show goes on. This is Hollywood, baby!” Green stated. She also highlighted her use of social media to engage fans and potentially influence creative direction. “I love to start a storyline on social media and plant the seed, because then the writers can gauge reactions and maybe bring it into their creative meetings.”
Green also detailed her support for Niven during her recovery, drawing on her own past experiences with injury. recalling a 2014 broken collarbone sustained while wrestling in India, Green said, “The girls took care of me… They washed my hair, packed my bags, took me to the airport, got me on a plane home.” Now, she explained, she’s focused on supporting Niven mentally. “There’s not much I can do physically, but I want to make sure that as she takes that step back, she realizes this is the time to rest, recover, brainstorm new ideas, start a new hobby, and not get in her head. As, trust me, we get in our heads!”
The interview also revealed insights into the internal dynamics of the Secret Hervice. Despite portraying a leadership role on screen, Green stated, “Everyone looks at me like I’m the leader, but we know within the group that this is all make-believe. I’m not the real leader, and that’s fun.” She credited the strong relationships and mutual respect she shares with both Niven and Fyre, acknowledging their greater wrestling experience.Green also cited Maria Kanellis, with whom she previously worked in a stable, as an influence on her approach to leading the group within WWE.
