Check out the top games revealed at the THQ Nordic showcase

Some classics are coming back

A THQ Nordic held its showcase today, revealing a good amount of interesting games, titles from many different genres for all tastes. We have already shown that the game considered the father of the survivor horror genre, Alone in the Darkis returning, in addition to Outcast 2: A New Beginning. Let’s take a look at the rest of the games presented by THQ Nordic.

Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed

Crypto is returning once again in high resolution in the remake of Destroy All Humans 2. This will be the first game from the entire current THQ Nordic lineup to be released. The title arrives on August 30 for PC, PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S. The trailer below shows a new threat in addition to the Russian KBG.

Space for Sale

This is one of those colony simulator games where you dominate territories and build things to manage. In Space for Sale, we take on the curious role of “an intergalactic real estate developer with a mission to create hospitable homes, cozy lodgings and luxury real estate”. The game does not yet have a release date and will arrive on PC.

Gothic

Another PC classic will make its return. This new Gothic is nothing more than a remake of the original title released in 2001 for computers. Like Outcast 2, the game will return 20 years after its original release. This time, the game arrives for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5, with no set date yet.

Jagged Alliance 3

Okay, Gothic and Outcast aren’t even that old compared to this series. The first Jagged Alliance is from 1994. Jagged Alliance 3 is a military-themed tactical RPG. The game will be PC exclusive and also does not have a release date.

Tempest Rising

Another PC exclusive, and one that suits the platform well, Tempest Rising is an old-school RTS, as you can see in the trailer below.

Wreckreation

Developed by former members of Criterion Games, the studio responsible for some titles in the franchise Need for Speed and Burnout Paradise, Wreckreation will feature “a massive 400 square kilometer racing world of your own that gives you the freedom to create, plan… and destroy.” The title comes out for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

AEW: Fight Forever

The game “combines the nostalgic atmosphere of arcade wrestling with innovative All Elite Wrestling finishes and serial attack moves”. AEW: Fight Forever is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Switch.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

The iconic Square Pants returns. SpongeBob will have over 30 costumes, 7 different worlds to explore and meet familiar characters from the series in his new adventure. Also without a release date, the game is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Leaks reveal first images and details of Alone in the Dark remake
The game promises a third-person perspective and a return to the setting of the first game in the series.
