JAKARTA – PT Bank MNC International Tbk (BABP/MNC Bank) has just carried out a strategic corporate action, namely launching the digital banking service application MotionBanking on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Jakarta. This big step was taken by a subsidiary of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) only 10 days after obtaining a digital onboarding permit.
This MotionBanking application is also predicted to be a candidate for the giant digital economy in Indonesia. This application is the most integrated digital banking service that offers complete services ranging from savings, transfers, payments to credit cards, along with convenient UI/UX such as biometric logins, real-time notifications, and others.
BABP’s agile movement is certainly interesting to follow further. Moreover, through MotionBanking, it is believed that the dynamics of the financial technology business in the country will be increasingly stretched.
Observing this, MNC Sekuritas Senior Analyst Victoria Venny said that BABP is projected to have a better bargaining position in the banking industry in Indonesia. This is because it is supported by a very large market potential when compared to financial inclusion which is still low in Indonesia.

“MotionBanking is also supported by the synergy and ecosystem of MNC Group, which is well-known as the largest media company in Southeast Asia. In addition, MotionBanking also has added value because it has an attractive valuation with single-digit PBV, which is still lower than other digital banking companies,” explained Venny.
