Cheated by Fictional Orders and Money at ATM Ludes, This Ojol Driver Admits Sincerity to all Pages

KOMPAS.com – Audy Hamdani (59), online motorcycle taxi drivers from Tlogosari, Pedurungan District, Semarang, became a victim fictitious order in the form of 14 packs ayam geprek worth a total of IDR 315,000.

Not only that, Audy also admitted to being tricked into sending the remaining money in her account of Rp. 500,000 to the customer.

Audy admitted that she was devastated because the money was money to meet her family’s daily needs. However, Audy admitted that she was sincere.

“The important thing is to be able to work and be healthy,” he concluded.

Chronology according to Audy

Audy said, when delivering the order, it rained heavily. He took shelter because he was afraid that the food to be delivered would be wet.

However, when calling the customer, it turned out that the order was canceled.

“I was afraid that the food I brought was wet. After arriving at the place, I was even told to cancel the order,” said Audy.

ATM money is drained

Disappointed that the customer canceled the order, suddenly the customer called Audy again.

At that time, the customer asked him to go to an automated teller machine (ATM) to check the money in his savings.

Without realizing it, Audy complied with the request. He also complied with the customer’s request to send a photo of the balance of his savings.

According to Audy, the male voice on the other end of the phone also asked her to enter a number.

“I wasn’t aware, so just obey what the caller asks,” he explained.

While still wondering about the order’s request, Audy went to the orphanage on Jalan Giri Mukti, Tlogosari, Semarang, to provide canceled meals.

“At that time, my focus was only on food so it wouldn’t be in vain. Finally I gave it to the orphanage,” he said.

Unreachable number

When he was about to top up the online motorcycle taxi account balance, Audy realized that the money in her account had sold out.

“I was shocked, when I checked it turned out that the balance in my account had run out. At that time I wanted to take money for top-up,” he said.

Audy tries to contact the mysterious man who called her earlier, but the number has been blocked.

“Daily income is Rp. 30,000 to Rp. 70,000. But during this pandemic, the income is uncertain. The important thing is to be able to work and be healthy,” he concluded.
