Hundreds of Students Explore higher Education Options at Chaumont Forum
CHAUMONT, Haute-Marne – Nearly 900 students and young professionals converged on Chaumont today for the annual student forum, seeking guidance on educational pathways and career opportunities within the region and beyond.The event, held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, showcased 100 distinct training programs across 55 stands, focusing on both higher education and locally-based vocational training.
The forum serves as a crucial bridge for young people navigating their futures,notably as application deadlines approach.With the parcoursup platform opening on December 17th, the event provided invaluable, direct access to details about available programs and support services. This yearS forum underscored the commitment of the agglomeration and the city of Chaumont to fostering local talent and retaining students within the Haute-Marne department.
The event highlighted the diverse educational landscape available in and around Chaumont, extending to areas like Nogent and Buxières-lès-villiers.Offerings range from post-baccalaureate programs (Bac +1) to master’s level degrees (Bac +5), with specialized tracks in fields like graphic design and industrial professions reflecting the region’s economic strengths.
