Chartres talent show crowns singer Katie

Six talents, between three and four titles each but only one winner. Place des Épars hosted the final of the C’les talents competition on Saturday July 2.

A dozen artists passed, Thursday and Friday, before the eyes of the jury made up of six employees of the City of Chartres. Half were selected to participate in the final.

Romain dit Perché finished third in the competition.

Spectators were able to listen to rap and pop songs, in English and French. Among the competitors was Emma Ben Moussa. She will celebrate her 10th birthday in August and has moved forward on stage with a determined step.

The young singer performed Danse monkey, And bam et Voilà before ending his performance to the applause of an audience charmed by his confidence.

Emma, ​​10 years old in a few days seduced the public.

His mother, Charlotte, his grandparents and his little sister are also admiring. “Since she was little, I have been entitled to my weekly concert,” smiles her grandmother.

Aziz’s good bet

Aziz and his songs by Ed Sheeran impressed Ghislaine and Évelyne, posed on the side of the stage. Aziz bets on the potential of Katie, the last singer to pass.

The 17-year-old girl has always sung “in [sa] room and in a karaoke bar in Chartres”. Emma finished in second place behind Katie, 17.

Further, the singers of the group Helm await the verdict, they who have innovated by interpreting the title Back to black of Amy Winehouse for the first time this afternoon.

Aziz had a hollow nose since it was Katie who won the contest.
