Through his subordinates, Edhy received a bribe of 77 thousand US dollars or around Rp 1.126 billion from the owner of PT Dua Putera Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP) Suharjito. Apart from that, Edhy also received Rp 24.6 billion from Suharjito and other exporters.

“It is reasonable to suspect that the gift or promise was given to motivate him to do or not do something in his position,” said the prosecutor.

It is known that this bribe was given to Edhy after he issued a policy to lift the ban on catching or releasing lobsters, crabs and crabs in Indonesia.

The provision of bribes through Andreau Misanta Pribadi and Safri was also carried out in order for Edhy to speed up the approval process for lobster cultivation permits and lobster seed export permits at Suharjito’s company and other exporters.
