Christian Zimmermann began as a volunteer firefighter in 1983 in this same barracks. He currently holds the position of deputy to the commander of the Forbach – Saint-Avold company. His replacement is also a local. Yannick Gorjup joined the barracks of L’Hôpital in 2004.
