‘Chanel’s Muse’ Model Tennant dies

-British top model Stella Tennant (pictured), who has long been a representative model of French luxury brand Chanel with a unique neutral and aristocratic image, died suddenly on the 22nd (local time), the BBC reported. While the exact cause of death has not been disclosed, the bereaved family is asking for “respect for privacy.”

Tennant was born in London in 1970. She was the granddaughter of the Duke of Devonshire, Andrew Cavendish, a Scottish nobleman. She was a sculptor before her debut. After decorating the cover of fashion magazine’Vogue’ in 1993, she worked as a model for Chanel, Hermes, Burberry and Calvin Klein. In particular, it was spotlighted as the muse of’Fashion Emperor’ Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s chief designer, and appeared on the stage of the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. He married photographer David Lasnet in 1999 and had four children, but divorced in September of this year.
