Lisbon would have been chosen at the expense of Frankfurt and Moscow. German media adds that UEFA is expected to release the decision on June 17. The Champions League was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic after part of the round of 16 was played. The final was originally scheduled to take place in Istanbul.
