VimpelCom and Tele2 do not provide data on migration of subscribers. Earlier, a Tele2 representative spoke about the growing demand for routers and Internet connections using LTE-450 technology, which is well suited for use outside the city, in particular in summer residences.

Tens of thousands of Moscow subscribers have moved to nearby regions, for example, to the Yaroslavl, Tula, Nizhny Novgorod regions, said Denis Kuskov, director general of Telecom Daily. Someone goes home, someone went to wait for the outbreak of coronavirus in the summer cottages near Moscow, he says. Some of those leaving Moscow are those who, due to the closure of enterprises and organizations, were left without work, Kuskov notes.
