The singer of My Heart Will Go On, Celine Dion congratulated her eldest son René-Charles Angélil from her Instagram account who turns 20 with an emotional message.
Dion expressed her congratulations in writing in French and in English Dion where she also recalled the first years of her eldest son’s life and said: “René-Charles, my son, twenty years ago, I had the privilege of hearing the word mom for the first time … My dream came true and you changed our lives forever! It’s hard to believe that two decades have already passed. You carry the color of the sky in your eyes and that same blue is the color of our love. Go out and embrace life, and remember to never stop believing in yourself, because I believe in you. Remember also that your father always takes care of you and guides you. We love you very much… Happy birthday, RC! – Mom, Nelson and Eddy xx… ”.
Celine Dion and her former manager, Angélil, married in 1994, and after enduring years of fertility struggles, they welcomed René-Charles into the world in 2001. The couple returned to in vitro fertilization in 2009 and added two more children to his family. the following year, Eddy and Nelson.
It is recalled that René Angélil, died in 2016 at the age of 73 after a long battle with throat cancer. The couple had been married for 21 years and had three children.
