Céline Dion has to pay ex-manager 13 million dollars

Céline Dion has to pay her former manager Rob Prinz, who she fired in 2017, 13 million dollars (about 11 million euros). According to the court, the Canadian singer must continue to pay her tour contract of 489 million dollars (412 million euros), which ran until 2026.

For Dion’s tour shows, Prinz received between one and a half and three percent commission, an “exorbitant” wage according to an accountant’s office. When he declined a wage reduction proposal from Dion, he was fired and went to the labor disputes committee. He is now right there. Dion is appealing the decision.
