The actress has been missing since Wednesday last week.
Wednesday last week became a four year old boy found alone on board a boat i Lake Piru i Ventura County i California.
The boy, Josey Hollis Dorsey, is the son of “Glee” actor Naya Rivera, 33, and the mother and son had rented a boat to swim. Rivera, on the other hand, was disappeared without a trace when the boat was found, and a comprehensive search was quickly initiated.
On Thursday, authorities reported that the 33-year-old was presumed dead, and now a body has been found by the lake, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Twitter Monday night Norwegian Time:
They also announced that they will hold a press conference at the lake at 23 Norwegian time. The body has not yet been identified.

Found sleeping in the boat
According to Fox11 Rivera and her son rented the boat for three hours, and the company that owned the boat went out to look for them when they did not come back on time. When the boat was found by another boat owner shortly after, a sleeping four-year-old lay on board.
Rivera was nowhere to be seen, and according to her son, the two had been out swimming – but her mother never came back. He himself had climbed into the boat when he realized his mother was gone.

Since local police have been given access to surveillance images showing the mother and son boarding the boat alone, there is no suspicion that anything criminal may have happened to the actor.
The son was wearing a life jacket when he was found, while Rivera’s life jacket was found in the boat.
Comprehensive search
The search for the missing actor has been extensive, with rescue crews searching both in water and on land. Helicopters, divers and drones have been used, and friends, family and colleagues have gone out on social media hoping the 33-year-old will be found alive since the disappearance.
In addition, the actress’s mother and brother have contributed to the search for her, and have been at the lake every day.
Rivera is perhaps best known for the role of Santana Lopez in the TV series “Glee”, but she has also had several other roles.
From 2014 to 2018, she was married to actor Ryan Dorsey, 36, with whom she has her son.
