“Derived from the intervention carried out in coordination between state and federal authorities @SeguridadGto, @FGEGUANAJUATO and @SEDENAmx in several rural communities of Celaya, achieved substantial arrests of alleged members of the CSRL,” he wrote in a message.

In addition to Celaya, local media and users of social networks reported fires and explosions in other municipalities of that state, as those of Salamanca, Cortazar, and Juventino Rosas, belonging to an area known by the theft of fuel.
On the other hand, it was reported that in the arrests was achieved by the aseguramineto of firearms, ammunition, and vehicles, however it was not specified the number, sizes, or models of the same.

In the last few days Celaya, and in general the state of Guanajuato have been a growing wave of violence. Just yesterday, seven people were killed by an armed group the interior of a home. Among the victims found the body of a child two years of age and a pregnant woman.
During the first four months of the year Guanajuato reported the highest number of victims of culpable homicide in the country, with a thousand 534 cases.

What happened reminded citizens the “Culiacanazo”, the operation failed on the 17 of October last by the that federal authorities attempted to capture the son of the drug lord mexican Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman in Culiacan, capital of Sinaloa state.
