The lawyer representing Cédric Jubillar, accused in the disappearance and suspected murder of his wife Delphine, has stated he remains convinced of his client’s innocence. The legal representative, Jean-Baptiste Alary, has been defending Jubillar for four years and described his current position as being “on the verge of rupture.”
Four Years of Defense
Cédric Jubillar is accused of killing his partner,Delphine,who vanished in December 2020 from Cagnac-les-Mines in the Tarn region.The 38-year-old denies the allegations and is suspected of having concealed his wife’s body.Delphine Jubillar’s remains have not yet been located.
Jean-Baptiste Alary was present during Jubillar’s initial police custody on June 16, 2021, and subsequently when he was formally charged with “murder of a spouse.” Jubillar’s defense team also includes lawyers Alexandre Martin and Emmanuelle Franck. The trial is scheduled to commence on September 22, 2025, at the Albi Assize Court.
