Tennis player Cesil Karatancheva denied the rumors involving her name in the interrogation of Boyko Borissov.
“Regarding the circulating news interfering with my name, I want to say that I have nothing to do with this signal and case. I am a married woman and I no longer want my name to be associated with works, fabrications and provocations “, Karatancheva wrote on social networks.
One of the signals against Borisov, for which he was questioned today, is about his correspondence with Cesil Karatancheva. In 2012, her father, Radoslav Karatanchev, accused Borisov of writing obscene text messages to the then-minor tennis player as mayor in 2005. The leader of GERB categorically denied and declared the allegations “inhuman”.
The story of the text messages appeared in 2012 in a newly created newspaper at a time when Boyko Borissov was already prime minister. Today, its first editor-in-chief is among the hottest fans of the GERB leader.
Karatanchev is also involved in politics – he entered the 38th National Assembly on behalf of George Ganchev’s Business Bloc. The two are even expected to run as a presidential couple. However, there was a rift between them and so Karatanchev did not try for vice president.
The strange thing in the story, however, is that according to “24 Chasa” the signal in 2021 for Sesil Karatancheva did not come either from her or from her father Radoslav Karatanchev.
According to police sources, its author is Emil Naidenov, whose daughter practiced tennis and competed with Cecil in the past. The father describes that years ago he heard talk on the courts about some mobile correspondence between Borisov and Cecil, but he did not read or see it in person.
