CBLOL 2021: Audience of the final breaks record and exceeds 400 thousand spectators

This Sunday (18) happened the final of CBLOL 2021 (1st split) between paiN and Vorax. brTT and company won 3-1 and took the trophy for the first edition of the tournament with a franchise system. In addition to the production success despite the pandemic, CBLOL broke the audience record, exceeding 400 thousand simultaneous viewers.

Data were collected by the website Sports Charts, which specializes in this type of content. Altogether there were 416 thousand unique spectators in the grand final, being the record not only of the split, but also of the last seasons. PaiN, who was crowned champion of the tournament, had four of the five most viewed games of this edition. See the ranking:

  • paiN vs Vorax (final) – 416,335 simultaneous viewers
  • paiN vs Flamengo (semifinal) – 329,750 simultaneous viewers
  • paiN vs LOUD (week 1 – day 1) – 319,902 simultaneous viewers
  • paiN vs LOUD (quarterfinals) – 295,482 simultaneous viewers
  • FURIA vs LOUD (week 1- day 2) – 250,277 simultaneous viewers

Data collection considers numbers from Twitch, Youtube and Nimo TV. As already mentioned in this article, the CBLOL 2021 final broke the previous records, which were:

  • 395 thousand simultaneous viewers (2nd split of 2020)
  • 315 thousand simultaneous viewers (2nd split of 2019)
  • 284,000 simultaneous viewers (1st split of 2019)
  • 226 thousand simultaneous viewers (1st split of 2020)

With the implementation of the franchise system, teams receive a higher percentage of the competition’s profits according to the audience they attract, so paiN should be one of the organizations that will receive the most revenue from this part. Understand more about the CBLOL award on here
