Causes of the Covid-19 Case Continue to Grow according to the Government Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Government spokesman for handling corona virus Achmad Yurianto said that there were still new cases being added Covid-19 on Sunday (6/28/2020) due to the discipline of implementing health protocols that were still not implemented properly.

The positive cases experienced an increase of 1,198 people, bringing the total to 54,010 people.

“Let’s understand together that the addition of this case illustrates that discipline and compliance to implement health protocols are still not fully implemented properly,” Yuri said as quoted by the Ministry of Health press release, Sunday (6/28/2020).

He explained that non-compliance consisted of three forms.

First, there are positive confirmed people who have not done well independent isolation.

Second, there is a vulnerable group infected with Covid-19 that does not keep their distance. Third, do not wear masks and do not wash hands with soap.

He also appealed to the public to remind each other well, adhere to the health protocol.

“Always be vigilant wherever located, especially in locations that are prone to transmission such as offices, traditional markets, food stalls, restaurants, restaurants and public transportation,” said Yuri.

“Again, let’s face it together, we face together, we will overcome the spread of Covid-19, we certainly can,” he continued.

In addition to the addition of new cases, Yuri also revealed there were an additional 1,027 people who were declared cured of Covid-19 infections until Sunday.

The largest addition of cases of recovery came from Papua Province with 335 people.

“The total recovery reported was 1,027 so that the accumulation of recovered cases was 22,936 people,” Yuri said.

According to Yuri, the increase was derived from data that were previously still in aggregate form, so that it could not be confirmed and had not been recorded in detail per individual.

The data has been corrected per Sunday.

“It can be resolved administratively detailing the new recovery data, already using individual data as a continuation of the positive confirmation case that has been registered,” he added.

Some provinces with the addition of more cases recovered than positive cases, namely Papua (26 new cases and 335 cases cured), East Kalimantan (9 new cases with 11 recovered), Maluku (6 new cases with 12 recovered), Banten (3 new cases with 17 recovered), Riau (1 new case with 18 recovered), West Kalimantan (no addition of new cases with 8 recovered), Lampung (no additional cases with 7 recovered).

Meanwhile, the case of death increased by 34 people in total to 2,754 people.

The government is still monitoring the ODP by 47,658 people, and the PDP is monitoring by 14,712 people.
