Donegal Community Mourns Passing of **Cathal Patton**
Remembered for his warmth and dedication to family.
The community of Convoy, County Donegal, is in mourning following the peaceful passing of **Cathal (Charles) Patton**. Surrounded by family, **Cathal** will be fondly remembered for his kindness and devotion.
A Life Remembered
**Cathal Patton** is survived by his wife, **Margaret**, his son **Gareth**, daughter-in-law **Francesca**, and his grandchildren **Declan**, **April**, and **Islagh**. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters **Elizabeth (John)**, **Patsy (Margaret)**, **Ann (Christopher)**, **Mary (Gerry)**, **John**, and **Liam (Madeline)**, in addition to a large extended family and many friends.
**Cathal** was predeceased by his parents, **Brigid** and **Charlie**. The family appreciates the outpouring of support during this difficult time, as losing a loved one is never easy. Approximately 2.6 million people die in the U.S. each year, according to the CDC (CDC.gov).
The family shared:

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place at **Cathal’s** late residence in Ballyboe, Convoy, F93FY9C on Thursday, July 10th, from 2:00 pm, with Rosary at 9:00 pm, and on Friday, July 11th, from 12:00 pm, with Rosary at 9:00 pm.
The funeral cortege will depart his late residence on Saturday morning at 10:30 am, proceeding to St Mary’s Church, Convoy, for an 11:00 am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in St Mary’s old cemetery, Convoy.
