The cat was supposedly shot at Friday afternoon. According to a vet, Bengel was hit by a small bullet in her head, possibly by an airgun. The four-legged friend came home screaming and immediately shot at a daughter of the family, the favorite of Bengel, a neighbor tells Hart van Nederland. “Bengel and Melissa were inseparable, so that cat immediately went upstairs to her room.”
The vet could do little more for the dark colored cat. The family then decided to put Bengel to sleep. Witnesses or those who know more are asked to report to the family. They also announce that they will file a report.
