Castro Marte announces vigil in honor of Virgen de la Altagracia

Santo Domingo, R.D.

The bishop of the Diocese of Our Lady of Altagracia, Jesús Castro Marte, announced a vigil in honor of the Virgin of Altagracia.

He said that the vigil, which will last for eight hours, will be held virtually through Color Vision and the YouTube platform of the Basilica of Higüey and Banco Popular Dominicano.

It is scheduled to begin next Wednesday at 11:55 at night.

Likewise, Castro Marte urged the population to follow the activity from home and not to violate the health protocols imposed by the authorities.

“This Wednesday at 11:55 pm an 8-hour vigil will begin in honor of the Virgin of Altagracia, so that you can make your pilgrimage of faith, without leaving home. For love the Virgin! Color Vision parent channel, and YouTube of the Basilica of Higüey and Banco Popular Dominicano, “wrote the bishop through his Twitter account.
