One of the great festivals that take place in the city of Cartagena this year it will take place in person and also virtual. We are talking about the International Music Festival whose focus will be to bring attendees closer to the tradition of Italian bel canto: the opera of Italian tradition.
“The festival will be held with the capacity that biosecurity allows us at that time, but we will do it in person and virtual. There are people, especially older people who have always come to the festival and for health reasons will not be able to travel or attend and we want them to continue enjoying the concerts. Virtuality will be very important in this edition ”, said Julia Salvi, president of the International Music Festival.
The venues for the event will be the Adolfo Mejía Theater and the Getsemaní Auditorium of the Convention Center. There will be concerts and conferences that seek to promote the musical and arts culture in the city.
The event that will feature Colombian and Italian artists in 2020 attracted 35,000 attendees, an important number for the local economy.
