Carpenter’s Incredible 5-Year Project: Hand-Built Wooden Citroen 2CV Sells for €210,000 at Auction in Paris

A replica of the vintage model of the Citroen 2CV made of wood was sold for 210,000 euros at an auction in Paris on Sunday. This corresponds to NOK 2.48 million.

The car was built by carpenter Michel Robillard (74), who spent over five years and 5,000 hours building the car replica.

Prior to the auction, the car had an estimated price of between 150,000 and 200,000 euros, according to AFP.
