The biography of Martien Meiland is currently flying out of the store! The Netherlands feasts on the funny (and sometimes dramatic) events in the life of the lord of the castle. ‘Family friend’ Caroline van Eeden left Chateau Marillaux with trouble, and it still hurts her.
Caroline was a guest in Show news, to tell about the new show All Hens aan Dek. In it she sails across the Atlantic Ocean with Marco Kroon, Rintje Ritsma, Imanuelle Grives and Victor Reinier. Fortunately, there is also an experienced sailor on board (Hans Bouscholte), so that the celebrities do not wash up on the beach of Denmark or something.
In Show news Caroline said she had not read Martien Meiland’s biography. “No, I don’t have to read it; I get enough information. ” Bart Ettekoven went into it a bit more deeply, and asked Caroline if she knows what it says and what she thinks about it.

“There are enough things that touched me, because I had a very nice friendship with Martien. That hurts… But in the end everyone can believe their own story. If something happens in a family, and you ask a few years later, “Do you remember that?”, Each family member will have their own story. I have my story and I will keep it to myself. ”
Caroline left the Meiland family after a heated argument, Martien reported in his autobiography. Caroline and Martien’s daughter Maxime seemingly tossed wine glasses, and Maxime still has scars from Caroline’s nails on her arm. In Chateau Meiland you did not notice, but Meiland still lashed out at their former girlfriend in his biography. Caroline recently indicated that she would like to restore contact with the Meilandjes, but has not received a response yet. Otherwise Caroline says little about it, and she remains relatively chic.
Quarrel with the fam Meiland
Former housekeeper Nadège runs into the same problems a bit. In the show, she was portrayed as an ungrateful friend, and in the biography quite a bit of attention is paid to the love life of the French. Nadège is wild: “I told them that in confidence! I couldn’t think that would end up in a book, could I? ”
