Carole Baskin: ‘Trust in Tiger King makers cannot be restored with money’ | NOW

Carole Baskin has no plans for any amount of money in any second season of Netflix documentary Tiger King to appear. After rumors that she would demand 1 million euros for her participation, she says against Metro that her lack of confidence in the makers cannot be repaired.

Baskin simultaneously denies that she has been approached for the second season. “Nobody asked me to participate in a second round of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. There is no amount of money that would restore my confidence in the producers after they betrayed me and the animals so sickly, ”said the owner of Big Cat Rescue, a park that serves as a shelter for felines.

The 59-year-old zookeeper says he never received money from Netflix for the documentary series. “I was also not paid for the first season, while others have said they did receive an amount. That is contrary to the idea of a documentary, just like things that were staged or taken out of context.”

The first season of Tiger King shows the feud between Baskin and the eccentric zoo owner Joe Exotic. Exotic is currently serving a prison sentence, including for hiring a person to kill Baskin. The series also includes people who are convinced that Baskin knows more about the disappearance of her ex-husband Don Lewis. Lewis’s daughters recently announced they were suing Baskin for her possible involvement in his disappearance.
